In Kiev, in the Dnieper region, an elevator in a multi-story building, inside which there were ambulance workers, broke. Fortunately, the emergency braking system was activated on the second floor and the elevator stopped.
This was announced by the Center for Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine of the capital on its Facebook page.
“In one of the houses on Litinskaya Street, an elevator with the ambulance doctors who had arrived for an urgent call was cut off. The woman lost consciousness, gasped and foam came out of her mouth. Therefore, the ambulance left Instantly. In the indicated direction, the doctors were greeted by the sick mother and the 10-year-old daughter. They all got on the elevator and began to go up to the eighth floor. Suddenly, the elevator, having reached the fifth floor, began to descend quickly. Fortunately, the emergency braking system worked on the second floor and the elevator stopped, “the Center said.
While the specialists were saving the doctors from the elevator, another team responded to the call and provided the necessary emergency assistance to the patient.
We previously wrote about how an elevator broke in a high-rise building in Dnipro. As a result of the incident, a 17-year-old girl was injured.
