This was announced on the Facebook page of the head of the Kiev Metro, Viktor Braginsky. Such a number of people were registered in the metropolitan metro in the last 15 minutes of the old year and the first 15 minutes of the new year.
“The new year 2021 on the subway was greeted by 741 passengers. That is the number of people from Kiev and guests from the capital who used the subway from 11:45 PM on December 31, 2020 until 12:15 AM on 1 December. January 2021, “Braginsky wrote.
We will remember, “Kiev Metro” on New Year’s Eve – from December 31 to January 1, and at Christmas – on the night of January 6 to 7, decided to extend the work for three hours. At the same time, in some stations in the city center, the entry of passengers was restricted to avoid crowds of people on the platforms.
And on New Year’s Eve, the Pochtovaya Ploshchad metro station was decorated with huge Christmas cards.
