Also donor organs from Kiev rescued three more people in addition to the girl. On December 11, the founder of the Ukrainian donation platform, Iryna Zaslavets, shared this on her Facebook.

According to her, on the eve of the Kiev City Hospital for Clinical Emergencies, a man gave birth with a severe traumatic brain injury, which doctors could not save: a council of doctors diagnosed brain death.

The wife and pregnant sister of the deceased agreed to use the organs of the self for donation.

Three of them are patients of the AA Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology. A 3-year-old girl and a 50-year-old resident of the Kiev region received a kidney, the liver was transplanted into a 59-year-old man.

Speaking about organ transplantation for a three-year-old girl, Zaslavets clarified that in the summer she suddenly developed acute kidney failure.
