In Kiev, not far from the train station, a rapist attacked a woman who was walking home late at night.
As the deputy head of the Ukraine patrol police department Oleksiy Beloshitskiy said on Facebook, a stranger approached the woman on the way and began to offer communication, but she did not pay attention to the proposals and continued on her way. Suddenly, he grabbed her and dragged her to a dark and deserted place, away from the road.
“The man started punching the woman in the face, took the bag, tried to undress, strangled and wanted to rape. It’s scary to imagine how this story could have ended if it weren’t for the patrolmen who came quickly to the rescue,” he said.
According to Beloshitsky, the patrol police inspectors were patrolling the area near the station when they saw a frightened woman who ran towards them for help. (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the video).
“Miraculously she managed to escape from the attacker’s hands and ran with all her might towards the road, where she had the opportunity to be noticed. The attacker caught up with her, but when she saw a police car, she hurried to run,” said the police officer law.
Within seconds, the patrols reached and detained the fugitive with handcuffs. They called an ambulance for the victim and the detainee was handed over to the task force-investigator.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, a thief with a short-barreled weapon operates on the streets of Kiev. He stalks the victim, demands that he strip, and then gives him money and securities. There have already been several attacks.
