In Kiev, on Svoboda Avenue in the Podolsk district, a minibus ran a red light and hit three people in a crosswalk. One woman died, two more were hospitalized, according to the capital’s National Police on October 4.

The incident happened around Sunday afternoon.

“Two women born in 1957 and 1999 were hospitalized for medical care at a hospital, and the third pedestrian, a woman born in 1946, died of her injuries immediately at the scene,” police said.

According to Kiev.Operative, the minibus driver said his brakes had failed. The publication also publishes a video of the moment of the accident, which shows that the minibus is traveling at a red light when other cars have stopped.

It was previously reported that in Odessa, on the Marinesko descent, two minibuses collided. As a result of the accident, five people were hospitalized.
