In Kharkov, the mourning for the death of the mayor of Gennady Kernes will not last three days, as initially announced, but two days. This is indicated by order of the secretary of the Kharkov City Council, Igor Terekhov.
In connection with the death of the Mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Adolfovich Kernes, declare mourning in the city of Kharkiv on December 17 and 18, 2020, guided by Articles 42, 50, 59 of the Law of Ukraine “On Local Self-Government in Ukraine, “the document says.
According to the order, during the days of mourning, the State Flag of Ukraine and the flags of the city will be lowered on buildings and structures of local governments, companies, institutions and organizations. In addition, on these two days all entertainment events, concerts and sports competitions will be canceled.
We will remember, on December 17, in the German clinic “Charite” due to the consequences of the coronavirus disease at the age of 62, the mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes died. Earlier, in connection with the death of the mayor of Kharkov, Gennady Kernes, a three-day mourning was declared in the city.
