Leonid Sadovsky was attacked while going to the pharmacy at night. He was seriously injured with a blunt object.
In Kharkiv hospital, on Monday, November 16, a Kharkiv director was beaten by unknown men, head of the acting department of the Kharkiv National University of Arts, named after Kotlyarevsky, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Leonid Sadovsky. It is noted that Sadovsky was attacked not far from his home in Saltovka late at night when he went to the pharmacy for medicine. It is noteworthy that the attackers did not take anything from the beaten director, although he was carrying a rather large amount of money.

“This is not just a teacher. He is a person who raises children as his own,” wrote one of the students on his Facebook page, when the principal was still alive and the students raised money for his treatment.
The press service of the Regional National Police said that Sadovsky was attacked in a vacant lot. The attackers inflicted serious injuries on the deceased with a blunt object. He was able to walk home on his own, where his wife called an ambulance. Doctors performed a complex operation, but sadly, the director passed away.
The police initiated criminal proceedings with preliminary qualifications under the article on intentional serious bodily injury (part 1 of article 121 of the Penal Code). The perpetrators face up to eight years in prison. The police are looking for them.
