On the night of Monday December 14 in Kharkov on the street. Academician Walter, 7 there was a fire in a 9-story residential building.
As reported on the website of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, rescuers identified a fire site in an apartment on the seventh floor, where household items were burned in an area of 40 square meters. (to see the photo, scroll to the bottom of the page).
As a result of the fire, strong smoke was generated. Twelve residents were evacuated from dangerous smoke-filled outdoor areas.
While putting out the fire in a burning apartment, firefighters found the bodies of two dead people, whose identities are being established.
The fire at 06:30 was located and fully extinguished at 06:57. Approximately 35 staff members of the State Emergency Service and 9 units of firefighting equipment participated in the extinguishing.
The cause of the fire is being established.
