In a Jerusalem hospital, an 88-year-old resident died after being vaccinated against the coronavirus. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.
As representatives of the Hadassah University Medical Center pointed out, the 88-year-old man suffered from a serious illness. Initial data do not show a link between a man’s death and his vaccination.
It should be noted that this is not the first death after vaccination with the Covid-19 vaccine: a 77-year-old man died the day before after vaccination. In both cases, healthcare providers don’t believe the deaths are related to vaccines.
It is noted that as of Wednesday in Israel they were vaccinated 650 thousand citizens the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. According to the Minister of Health, Yuliy Edelstein, yesterday almost 152 thousand people were vaccinated.
Right now, Israel is vaccinating medical personnel, people over the age of 60, and people with chronic diseases. The Health Minister hopes to start vaccinating teachers and all school personnel soon.
