After detecting COVID-19 in squid packages delivered from the Russian Federation, the Chinese Fuyu’s health department asked everyone who bought products in seven days of trade to take tests.
In the Chinese city of Fuyu, a coronavirus infection was found in packages of squid imported from Russia. Reuters reported this with reference to the city’s health department on September 20.
Officials called for COVID-19 testing for everyone who purchased squid at the Sanjia Deda seafood store from August 24 to 31, as well as for those who ate the product.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
