A criminal case against Sergey Zhurman has already been opened
The head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Anna Kovalenko, has already filed a petition to dismiss the official.
The head of the Chernigov regional state administration, Sergei Zhurman, was arrested while receiving a bribe. He demanded money to issue an order on six hectares of land in the region, the SBU reported Wednesday, November 4.
“The intelligence officers found that the official, who is also a deputy of the Chernihiv Regional Council, demanded 10 thousand dollars from a local resident. This is the amount that assessed the issuance of an order for the development of a detailed plan of the territory and the approval of changes in the designated purpose of land parcels with an area of 6 hectares in the Chernihiv region “. , – says the message.
The head of the RGA was arrested while receiving the full amount of the bribe. A criminal case was started under the article on obtaining an illegal profit on a large scale or by an official in a responsible position (part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation investigates possible other acts of corruption of the official.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Anna Kovalenko, said in a comment to Suspilny that she had already filed a petition to remove Zhurman, who was appointed to the post in July this year by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
