A fire and a powerful explosion broke out in the hospital due to the depressurization of a two-bucket oxygen cylinder. 150 people were evacuated.

At a student clinic in Russian Chelyabinsk, there was a powerful explosion from an oxygen cabin, as a result of which the building caught fire. On Saturday, October 31, RIA Novosti reports.

It is observed that the shock wave knocked down glass in buildings, more than 150 people were evacuated. Fifteen ambulances were dispatched to the site to transport patients to other hospitals.

The press service of the Russian Emergency Ministry told reporters that a 2×2 meter oxygen cabin, made of sandwich panels, caught fire. It is an extension of the building of 70×40 meters. During the fire, a two-bucket oxygen cylinder was depressurized.

There are no injuries or deaths as a result of the explosion of the oxygen station, reported the press service of the governor of the Chelyabinsk region.

Patients who need oxygen support receive it through cylinders, the press service added.

We will recall, on October 28 in the Kharkiv region an explosion thundered at a gas distribution substation. One person died, two were hospitalized.
