In Baghdad, tonight they shot at the American embassy.
According to Deutsche Welle, at least three rockets landed near the US embassy. Two more ended up in residential areas.
According to local media reports, missiles were fired at the embassy from Katyusha-type multi-launch rocket launchers.

Air defense systems managed to shoot down missiles that fell within Baghdad’s “green zone”, where diplomatic missions and government offices are located. Iraqi security forces are searching for the launch sites. Cords of security officers were installed outside the embassy.
Property damage was said to have resulted from the attacks, but no casualties were reported.

It should be noted that this is the third attack on US military and diplomatic facilities in Iraq in recent years. On November 17, rockets were fired at the US embassy in Baghdad and various parts of the city, killing a woman.
On December 10, two convoys carrying logistics for the US-led coalition were hit by roadside bombs.
