The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that many Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in today’s tough battles.

In fierce battles between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armies in the south of Nagorno-Karabakh, military personnel from third countries, in particular from Turkey, and also recently from Afghanistan, are participating. On Wednesday, October 7, the official representative of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told reporters about this.

“Today it became known that they are now bringing militants here from Afghanistan,” the official said.

At the same time, Hovhannisyan said that many Azerbaijani soldiers died in today’s tough battles. Furthermore, up to 80 enemy army teams were destroyed.

“Part of the military equipment was captured by our units. But in the afternoon the fighting continued, so there is no definitive data for today,” said the ministry spokesman.

As previously reported, Turkey’s Foreign Minister said that his country is ready to support Azerbaijan in any area, calling the Karabakh conflict a Baku struggle “for the liberation of its lands.”
