The well-known Swedish company IKEA, which sells furniture and household items in many countries around the world, has announced the start of cooperation with the gaming brand ASUS ROG. The details of both companies lead to their joint products: “affordable play furniture and accessories,” which will include at least three dozen items on the starting line.

The new product line will be developed by the IKEA Product Development Center in Shanghai. IKEA said its designers have held workshops with ROG designers, as well as professional gamers and casual gamers, to develop the necessary functionality for home gaming furniture.

“By partnering with ROG, the company wants to apply its home furnishings expertise, multiplied by ASUS ROG expertise, to create an exceptional gaming experience,” wrote IKEA. At the moment they have not specified which specific products are in question, but obviously player tables and chairs will be included in the assortment.

The launch of the IKEA ASUS ROG line of play furniture will take place in China in February 2021 and will be available in the United States and other major countries in October 2021.

In our country, IKEA is still presented in an online store format with delivery points in Kiev. IKEA promises to open an urban format retail store in Blockbuster Mall by the end of the year, but is unfortunately experiencing problems with the implementation of its plans. For the first time, IKEA announced its entry into the Ukrainian market in 2017 and since then the process has advanced “with a creak”.
