The Ministry of the Interior gave recommendations to drivers due to the icy conditions on the roads

The Interior Ministry gave recommendations to drivers regarding icy roads. In addition, drivers are warned about possible traffic violations due to bad weather.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.

Therefore, drivers were urged to adhere to safe driving rules to avoid tragedies on the roads:

  • keep a distance between cars;
  • park your car so as not to interfere with snow removal equipment;
  • driving on slippery roads at minimum speed;
  • while driving, do not make sudden maneuvers;
  • when approaching pedestrian crossings, slow down;
  • pay attention to the warnings of the corresponding services.

Let us remind you that today, December 12, the icy roads will remain in Ukraine. Meteorologists have declared the first level (yellow) of danger.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that in Ukraine, against a background of deteriorating weather conditions, on December 10, almost 1,5 thousand traffic accidents were recorded. As a result, 8 people died, 99 were injured.

Note that on December 12 in Ukraine the weather will get worse. During the day, wet snow and rain are expected in most of the country, the air temperature will fluctuate from -3 to +6 degrees.
