The roads of Kiev are covered by a layer of ice due to rain and frost. The townspeople complain that the streets are almost impossible to walk, the roads collapse. Due to the ice in the capital, the number of accidents has increased.
As reported by journalist NV, most of the sidewalks in the capital are not spattered with salt. Meanwhile, the state administration of the city of Kiev claims that 341 units of special equipment and 50 manual cleaning brigades participated in the fight against the ice.
Facebook users complain that the streets, especially where the climb is, cannot be walked without falling every few steps.

- choose shoes with raised soles and low heels;
- move slowly, do not keep your hands in your pockets, relax and bend your knees a little;

- stay away from buildings and trees; icicles can fall from them;
- be careful when crossing the street or to the side of it.
What should drivers do on ice?
- do not use vehicles with summer tires;
- keep the distance between cars;
- drive on a slippery road at minimum speed, do not make sudden maneuvers;
- slow down before crosswalks;
- park so as not to interfere with utility vehicles;
- turn on the side lights or the fog lights.
