The director of television channels Football, Denisov, said he wants to start hosting the Great Football program in Ukraine.
– The language law came out, it seemed to force him to change to Ukrainian. Could you do a program in Ukrainian?
– Of course. I want to change to Ukrainian, even preparing myself. All the meetings about the “Great football” that happened in Ukraine. We have an agreement with Volodya Kramar. At work, when they speak to me in Ukrainian, I answer and speak Ukrainian.
I’m trying to practice the level naturally, conversationally. If I was in the studio myself, like in the format of a “soccer weekend”, it would have changed me a long time ago, because it’s easier if this is an individual show.
And here, somewhere, I am worried about losing the speed of reaction to my interlocutors, I am afraid that the program will lose a little of this. But this is already in my throat: I want to run a program in Ukrainian.
And this is not because of the law. There are restrictions by law. “Great football” is not the best, I can manage it without problems in Russian. The question is not the law, the question is that I myself want to run my program in Ukrainian.
