The central defender of the Ukrainian team in an interview with Football NEWS spoke about his stay in quarantine and, in general, about the situation within the team: “We have a group in one of the messengers in which all the coaches, players are located. and template. With positive results in the COVID-19 tests, the players were not able to participate in the morning practices, but the bureaucratic mechanisms failed, the player reports: “In the morning we had a pre-game training. At first we were forbidden to participate in it, but then as I understood, after consulting directly with UEFA, we were admitted. I was already dressed in a training uniform, but again there was a message that UEFA allowed, but the Swiss authorities prohibited us from training, and in the end we were sitting by our numbers. “
Kryvtsov, like the rest of our delegation, who had COVID-19, was put into isolation in his hotel room: “We have no right to leave the room. Today, even having received this positive, and I think – false positive, test result “. I’m constantly in the room, I’m not going anywhere. They put food under the door and I just take it. In principle, this is how it happens. Boys who previously tested positive went through the same thing. through instant messaging, there are no communication problems ”.
The footballer also said that the Ukrainian team is already preparing to return to Ukraine, but Kryvtsov still does not know the scenarios for this procedure: “Many people wrote when the information about the tests was made public. I still hope it was a mistake. As far as I know, the game was canceled, and tomorrow (November 18 – ed.) – flight to Kiev. But I don’t know how we, who show positive results, will get home. “
UEFA reacted to this event, but has yet to make a final decision on the fate of this fight. The UAF also presented its proposals to resolve the situation to the higher soccer body, however, this did not affect the situation at this time.
