According to Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmitry Razumkov, he has “absolutely normal” working relationships with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmitry Razumkov denies rumors of his conflict with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He told this to Ukrainska Pravda in an interview that was published on December 28.

“I don’t understand what kind of conflict you are talking about. If you are talking about the situation with the Constitutional Court (Zelensky and Razumkov presented each of their bills. – “GORDON”), I think everyone has taken a state position, “Razumkov said.

When asked when he last spoke to the president, the Rada president replied: “Last week we spoke in the faction.”

Razumkov described his relationship with Zelensky as an “absolutely normal” working relationship, “as before.”

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine (CCU) on October 27 canceled part anti-corruption provisions and it pointed out that the establishment of criminal responsibility for the declaration of deliberately inaccurate data, as well as the deliberate omission to present declarations is an excessive punishment for the commission of such crimes. After that, a political crisis emerged in the country.

On October 29, Zelensky registered in the bill Verkhovna Rada No. 4288, which aims to recognize the decision of the Constitutional Court as illegal, deprive the entire composition of the court and appoint a new one, as well as ensure the continuity of the anti-corruption legislation. The head of the KSU, Alexander Tupitsky, said that this bill has signs of a constitutional coup and is contrary to the Constitution. Representatives of the Council of Europe criticized Zelensky’s bill. On December 9, Zelenskiy urged the Rada not to consider his bill until the decision of the Venice Commission.

On December 15, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that restores the powers of the NAPK, one of its authors was Razumkov.

A survey conducted in early December by the Razumkov Center, 35.1% of Ukrainians trust Razumkov, 51.7% do not. The attitude towards Zelensky is worse: 29.9% and 63.8%, respectively.
