The Verkhovna Rada began collecting signatures for Stepanov’s resignation several times.
On November 26, Ukrainska Pravda, citing sources, wrote that Stepanov could be fired at the end of 2020. Now, according to the newspaper, they are looking for a replacement for him, Lyashko’s candidacy is being considered, “who has great ambitions and is already tired of being the main orderly.” Sources reported that Lyashko’s candidacy is supported by the deputy head of the President’s Office, Kirill Tymoshenko.
