Velor restaurant owner Nikolay Tishchenko says that no “headquarters” works in his restaurant, and that he did not know what other people’s deputies at the institution did during the quarantine.

The People’s Deputy of the People’s Servant, Nikolai Tishchenko, denies his statement that the “headquarters” is allegedly located at his Velor restaurant in Kiev. He said this in an interview with UP, which was published on Wednesday, May 13.

“I do not have a headquarters in Velor. Velor is a restaurant that worked on takeaways from the first day of this problem that came to our country. This is an artificially created scandal,” he said.

Tishchenko also claims that his words about headquarters work were misunderstood.

“You can go to my Instagram. I write that” all restaurants are working on delivery, observing all the rules. I am at Velor to work at headquarters or for personal meetings. “Do you understand what the casuistry of the broken words in the text is?” Said the town deputy.

Answering the question about what the people’s deputy Anton Yatsenko did at the institution, Tishchenko said: “I cannot control the actions of the Yatsenko people’s deputy.”

He also says that Vitaly Kisel, who works at Metinvest, also did not meet with him. At the same time, the town deputy claims that he cannot be responsible for what happens in the restaurant at a time when he is not there.

“They did not come to me. I have nothing to hide, I am an open person, the whole country knows me. Kiev knows me, everyone knows me and I know everyone in Kiev,” said Tishchenko.

The popular deputy also insists that Velor raises aid for hospitals and works in preparation for the mayor of Kiev.

Recall, in April, a journalistic investigation was published, which stated that the Velor restaurant in the center of Kiev continues to operate. Politicians and businessmen visit him. At the same time, in the restaurant itself, they responded to the journalist’s attempt to reserve a table they were not working at.

Soon, the town deputy, Tishchenko, said that he had established his headquarters in the restaurant. Supposedly he meets his assistants in an institution and together they think about the best way to transform Kiev.
