The train derailed
Six of the train’s nine carriages, carrying 88 passengers, rolled off the rails. No one was injured during the accident, the causes of the emergency are still unknown.
Interurban train №732 Kiev – Zaporozhye on Monday, March 29, derailed, near the town of Slavgorod. The corresponding video was posted by the Telegram channel Eto Zaporozhye.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that there were no casualties as a result of the accident, there was no information about train delays.
“Ukrzaliznytsia has created a commission that is investigating the reasons for the derailment of several carriages of train # 732 Kiev – Zaporozhye. No one was injured as a result of the incident,” the company said.
According to operational information, six of the nine wagons derailed from the rails 50 kilometers from the route’s final station, Zaporozhye.
At the time of the incident, there were 88 passengers in the train cars.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that the issue of its delivery to the destination station is now being resolved.
The question of finding a reserve train for the return flight is also being resolved.
Previously, the Intercity Kiev – Lviv train had an accident, colliding with a car at a railway crossing.
Three tanks were also reported to have derailed in the Poltava region. Then the commuter trains were delayed for several hours on the way.
