Head of the Constitutional Court Tupitsky became defendant in the high treason case

The State Investigation Office has opened criminal proceedings against the President of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Alexander Tupitsky. A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the unauthorized occupation of land, as well as high treason.

This was reported by the press service of the State Investigation Office.

According to the investigation, in 2018, he allegedly arbitrarily occupied a plot of land that was not assigned to him and allegedly recognized the authority of RF authorities officials to make records on the alienation of the Ukrainian plot of land.

“Therefore, he committed actions to the detriment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, state and economic security of Ukraine, they are qualified in Part 2 of Art. 197-1 and Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ”Says the message.

Consider that the journalists of the Scheme program found that Tupitsky did not declare the land in Crimea, which he became the owner of after annexation.

At a briefing today, the head of the KSU said that he would not come for questioning at the State Investigations Office.

The RRB previously stated that Tupitsky is being examined for his involvement in a criminal organization. He was summoned for questioning on November 2.
