The investigation established that the head of a state company demanded funds to agree on a reorganization plan for a bankrupt private company, in the committee of creditors in which the SOE had a majority of votes. This company was in talks with private investors. However, their participation required the approval of the creditors’ committee.
“When the head of the SOE felt the seriousness of the intentions of one of the investors, he demanded a fee for” loyalty “, estimating it at 250 thousand dollars,” the statement said.

The NABU added that the head of the SE acted through a representative of another creditor to a private company, which received an illegal benefit for its subsequent transfer to an official of the SE “Commercial Maritime Port” Chornomorsk “.
These two people were arrested, the question of notifying them of the suspicion and choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
