The head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deyneko, met with groups of foreign citizens trying to reach Ukraine from Belarus, despite entry restrictions. He said violators trying to enter Ukraine will face responsibility.

This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service.

“The head of the department clearly pointed out the non-admission of border violations by foreigners, because they will be responsible for this and the border guards will not allow attempts to violate the border,” the message says.

At the same time, Deineko pointed out that every foreign citizen must respect the laws of Ukraine and the rules governing the crossing of the state border.

In addition, the State Border Service used the department’s reserves and organized interaction with units of the National Police and the National Guard of Ukraine.

It should be remembered that more than 1,500 Hasidim pilgrims have been trapped on the border between Belarus and Ukraine.

Furthermore, the previous president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, explained that restrictions were introduced on Hasidic pilgrims, including at the request of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
