The pilgrims, who have been at the border for several days, dressed in Ukrainian national costumes and sang the national anthem that prevented them from entering.

The Hasidim trapped on the border with Belarus put on Ukrainian costumes and sang the Ukrainian anthem, trying to reach Uman. The corresponding video on Thursday, September 17, was posted by the head of the Jewish Committee of Ukraine, Eduard Dolinsky, on Facebook.

“In the fight for the right to reach Uman, the Hasidim, who are trapped on the border of Belarus and Ukraine, are singing the Ukrainian anthem in national costumes,” he wrote.

After singing the anthem, the Hasidim choir says: “Glory to Ukraine! Thank you, Ukraine! Thank you, President Zelensky!”
