Happy Birthday! Mariupol defeated Ingulets in a goalscorer match

Marmupol approached the next round of the Ukrainian championship with an eight-game losing streak in the Premier League. Before the tournament break, Ostap Markevich’s team finally returned to the home arena, but the Azov team leadership was convinced that Boyko Stadium was not suitable for holding matches. Therefore, Mariupol residents were again forced to hold a home meeting outside the house, this time in Kharkiv. Note that today’s matchup has become a milestone for Mariupol, because it took place on the day of its founding: 61 years ago, on April 3, 1960, the Azov club appeared on the football map.

“Ingulets” before the meeting with “Mariupol” got two wins in a row, which happened to the Petrovsky team for the first time at UPL. At the same time, Petrovtsy in three matches did not allow opponents to score their own goal. Undoubtedly, the charges of Sergey Lavrinenko came to Kharkiv with the intention of consolidating his success.

Already in minute 5 the ball was in the goal of the nominal guests, but the referee fixed an offside position in Topalov, who hit the shot. The rivals acted at an intense pace, trying to take their players to shock positions with long passes. Especially jealous in this component was the “Mariupol” midfielder Ocheretko. In the middle of the half, Azov’s team took the initiative. Again Topalov sent the ball into Petrovtsy’s goal, but this time he found himself on an even more obvious offside than at the start of the fight.

Bondarenko was about to open the scoring in the game, who, after a Topalov cross from the center of the area, did not hit the goal. Mariupol’s team had a similar combination before the break. This time, a cross from the goalkeeper’s line was closed by Kulakov, and the Kid showed a brilliant reaction. But the Petrovitas failed to keep their gates intact. In the first half compensated time, Salem inadvertently played in his own penalty area, after which Kid had to knock down Kulakov, who played ahead of the curve. Bondarenko struck confidently from the 11-meter mark – 1: 0.

The beginning of the second half of the meeting turned out to be just beautiful. First, Malysh made a mistake, after which Mariupol’s team doubled their lead. The goalkeeper could not cope with a simple shot from Bondarenko from outside the area. But the intrigue, which seemed to have died out, revived rather quickly. Kovalenko, who came on as a substitute during the break, fired from the right corner of the box and Plahotniuc corrected the ball in the goal. And a minute later, Kovalenko himself, in a head fall, closed the Kozak crossover with a spectacular blow (he also became the “joker” of the Ingulets coaching staff), equaling the result.

But as part of “Mariupol” on the field there was a hero. On giving a corner, Semenko grabbed Bondarenko with his hands, and the referee pointed to the 11-meter mark for the second time in the match. The victim herself shot straight into the corner and scored a hat-trick. It should be noted that it was Bondarenko who scored a successful hit in the match against Ingulets in the first round (1: 1). So Artem scored four goals against Petrovsky this season.

Soon the scoring extravaganza continued. After a pass from the right wing from Kiryukhantsev, the ball flew into the far corner of the penalty area towards whoever was Stasyuk, who fired an accurate shot. The nominal guests once again had to show their character, but this time Mariupol’s neighbors did not allow their rivals to create anything in their goal. Petrovtsy had a chance to come back at the end of the fight. Kudrik crashed into Balan in the penalty area and was awarded a third penalty in the match. Shevtsov from the “point” has reduced the account to a minimum.

Mariupol’s team survived in the final minutes. Thus, the Azov team interrupted their losing streak. In the next round, Ostap Markevich’s team will face a difficult match at home with Shakhtar (where it will take place is still unknown), and Petrovtsy will play an away game with Zorya.
