In the central part of Kharkov on Alchevskikh Street, a man blew himself up with a grenade. He died of his injuries.
This is stated in the Kharkiv region police message.
A woman reportedly called the police around 3:30 p.m. and said her husband had taken the suspicious item and gone to the garage. According to her, he was depressed.
“When the woman after a while came to the garage and tried to talk to her husband, he did not let her into the room, he locked himself in it and said he would commit suicide,” the message says.
When police arrived, they found the body of a man with injuries incompatible with life in the car in the back seat. Investigators, criminologists and explosives technicians work there.
