Although Google announced a temporary suspension of Chrome updates less than a month ago, the company released a new browser update at age 81. The update is currently being phased out and may not be available to most users, but we are now aware of the changes the update will bring.
In this update, Google has focused primarily on fixing critical bugs and vulnerabilities, but not without functional innovations. There is only one thing to know right now: tab grouping.
How to group tabs in Chrome:
- Open Chrome, go to the context menu and click the update install button (the update may have been installed automatically in the background);
- open several links, then hover your mouse over one of them, click “Add to new group”;
- repeat this step with the other tabs you want to group, but now select “Add to existing group”.

All tab collections will be separated by colored circles, which can be changed independently.
It is currently unknown if this is the final version of the new feature. Google may continue to improve.
