Police detained a 37-year-old Krivoy Rog resident who stabbed passersby with a knife and killed two men. He said he killed “in the name of God.”
On November 7, in Kryvyi Rih, a 37-year-old man attacked bystanders on the street in the Metallurgichesky district, killing two men, the local police press service said on Facebook.
“The victims of the attacker were bystanders, to whom the man inflicted numerous knife wounds. As a result, two people died at the scene and eight were taken to hospital,” the statement said.
Police were informed that an eight-year-old boy was among the injured.
The 37-year-old attacker was arrested, he is a resident of Krivoy Rog. The police initiated criminal proceedings under art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder).
“Perviy Gorodskaya” posted on Facebook a video of the interrogation of the detainee, who said he had a “death note”.
