The head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Committee, Daniil Getmantsev, said that in 2021 the parliament will adopt a number of new initiatives regarding taxes.
“We will definitely fight the ‘shadow’ in all its manifestations, in all areas, and our new legislative initiatives will be aimed at that,” said the deputy of the People’s Servant in an interview with Segodnya.
In particular, Getmantsev pointed to the so-called tax on surrendered income. We are talking about the taxation of agriculture, which is now in the shadow. This bill is already in the hallway, awaiting adoption.
In addition, the head of the Finance Committee of Verkhovna Rada commented on the so-called tax on Google.
“We are simply adjusting the existing tax collection system to force transnational companies to pay taxes in Ukraine. For some reason, taxes are not charged for advertising on the Internet. And they are charged for a board in the street,” Getmantsev summarized .
As previously reported by OBOZREVATEL, the Verkhovna Rada registered draft resolution no. 4393 on the dismissal of the People’s Deputy of the People’s Servant Daniil Getmantsev from the position of head of the financial, fiscal and customs policy committee. They want to fire Getmantsev “in connection with unsatisfactory work at the position”.
