Schools and kindergartens will remain open

For a month, cafes, restaurants, gyms and brothels are closed in the country. The new restrictions will go into effect on November 2.

In Germany, due to the growth of new COVID-19 cases, quarantine measures will be tightened from November 2. It is reported by the German edition Berliner Morgenpost.

Thus, the German Chancellor held a videoconference with the heads of 16 federal states, in which a previously developed plan for new quarantine restrictions is discussed, which will be in force until the end of November.

According to the plan, in Germany the following will be closed: theaters and concert halls; cinemas, attractions and amusement parks; gyms, sports facilities, swimming pools and brothels; bars, restaurants and pubs (except for take out); beauty salons, massage rooms, tattoo studios.

Schools and kindergartens will remain open, but will be asked to introduce new hygiene protocols.

It is reported that in about two weeks, around November 11, Merkel will again hold such an online meeting to discuss and evaluate the results obtained, as well as make any necessary adjustments.

Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her concern about the development of the coronavirus epidemic in the country and warned of more than 19 thousand infections a day by Christmas.
