Lukashenka’s statement “by itself does not correspond to reality” was transmitted to journalists in the RFA cabinet.

The FRG government said that the statements by the Belarusian president about the alleged falsification by Germany of data on the poisoning of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny are not true. On Thursday 3 September, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the press service of the German Cabinet of Ministers.

“Of course, Mr. Lukashenka’s statement does not correspond to reality. Yesterday, the Federal Chancellor, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense expressed their opinions on the new circumstances in the case of the Navalny poisoning.

Earlier, Lukashenko told Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin about the alleged interception of the Warsaw-Berlin conversation that German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s statements about the Navalny poisoning were fakes and promised to transfer the recording to Russian special services.

On the eve of the German government announced that Navalny was poisoned by Novichok. Tests in a German laboratory revealed traces of “a Novichok group chemical nerve agent.” In the Russian Federation, this was called interference in internal affairs.
