Did Russia and Germany agree on Navalny?
Russian Foreign Ministry press secretary Maria Zakharova accused Germany of allegedly delaying the process of considering a request for legal assistance in the Navalny case.
German authorities have long satisfied a request for legal assistance from Russia in the case of the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, but now Navalny is being examined at the Charite clinic, said German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas , on the air of the ARD television channel.
According to him, there is no reason not to comply with the request of the Russian side. The German government has already informed the Russian ambassador about this.
“There is now an examination at the Berlin Charite clinic. But we clearly said that if there is a formal application, we will issue all the necessary permits to exchange information on this application,” Maas emphasized.
