Berlin asks Moscow to explain the circumstances of the poisoning of the Russian opponent.

Experts from the Bundeswehr laboratory found traces of poison from the Novichok group on the body of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
This was reported on September 2 in Twitter Stefan Seibert, representative of the German government.
According to him, Navalny was poisoned with a nerve agent.
In this sense, Berlin asks Moscow to explain the circumstances of the poisoning of the Russian opponent.
The German government representative, in particular, said that the German Foreign Ministry would summon the Russian ambassador to Germany to discuss the situation with Navalny.

Navalny was poisoned: what is still known
- Navalny fell ill on the plane in which he flew to Tomsk. So the plane urgently landed at Omsk airport. At Navalny headquarters, Alexei is believed to have been poisoned by something mixed with tea.
- The media reported that Navalny may have been poisoned with sodium oxybutyrate, causing hallucinations, anxiety, confusion and pathological thinking.
- After the poisoning, Navalny is in a coma in serious condition. It was connected to a fan.
- The law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation are not yet considering Navalny’s version of deliberate poisoning. According to media reports, Navalny could collect material for an investigation into deputies from Putin’s party.
- On August 21, the Navalny headquarters, referring to the police, announced the discovery of a dangerous substance in the body of the politician. However, at the Omsk hospital, this information was immediately denied.
- The politician was evacuated from the Omsk hospital on August 22. Now he is in a German clinic. On August 24, Germany confirmed the poisoning of the opponent.
What is the “rookie” poison
- “Novichok” is a group of organophosphates with nerve agents. The Soviet Union led its development in the 1970s and 1980s.
- The group “Novichok” includes more than a hundred toxic substances of various structures. The most dangerous of them are “Novichok-5” and “Novichok-7”. They are eight times more toxic than VX gas, the most poisonous of all substances artificially synthesized by humans.
- The “novice” affects the nervous system, as a result of which the victim of poisoning cannot breathe and experiences very severe pain. Poisoning with a “novice” type substance is treated by administering two medications to the patient: an antidote and an anthropine.
