About 30 people attended the ceremony. According to the magazine, the actor wants to convert to Judaism in the near future.
Depardieu became a citizen of the Russian Federation in 2013 and received an apartment in Saransk as a gift from the authorities. At the moment, Depardieu is a citizen of France and Russia. In April 2015, Depardieu left Russia and moved to Belgium.
