Gas prices started to rise again after a month-long hiatus
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has announced the wholesale price of natural gas for heat producers to whom the state company supplies gas under special responsibilities (PSO). In December, the price of gas will amount to 6,103.10 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT and transport), 13.5% more than in November (5,375.37 UAH).
This was reported on the NAC website.
As noted in the press service of Naftogaz, the average price of gas for the PSO in 2020 amounted to 3,813.1 UAH per thousand cubic meters. m, which is 28% lower than the average price of gas for PSO in 2019.
As a reminder, the government decree on the imposition of special obligations in the gas market (PSO) to Naftogaz as of August 1, 2020, ceased to operate in terms of gas supply for the needs of the population.
At the same time, in accordance with the government decision, Naftogaz is supplying natural gas to heat producers who are subject to the IC until May 1, 2021 and has entered into the relevant contracts for the supply of natural gas.
As a reminder, for November, Naftogaz set the price of gas for heat producers at the level of 5,375.37 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters. The price practically did not differ from the cost in October (5,374.10 UAH).
