Red Cross doctors have found coronavirus in four Hasidim located on Ukraine’s border with Belarus. This was announced on Thursday 17 September by Suspilne with reference to the head of the Chernihiv regional organization of the Red Cross Society Oksana the Wise.

He said his Belarusian colleagues gave him facts about sick Hasidim. According to them, the sick Hasidim refused to be hospitalized in a Belarusian hospital and are on the Ukrainian border with Belarus.

On the night of September 17, Oksana Mudraya, together with representatives of the National Committee of the Red Cross and a rapid response unit, dressed in protective suits, delivered 60 packages of hygiene products, 60 warm blankets and 60 liters of water to the Hasidim through their Belarusian colleagues. According to her, that was exactly what the Hasidim needed.

In addition, the Hasidim received 4,000 packages of special food from the Jewish community of Uman. According to her, after receiving the food, the pilgrims sang and danced upon receiving the transmission and thanked her for her help.
