Former military officials who were fired after Volodymyr Zelenskyy became president of Ukraine received between 900,000 and 2.3 million hryvnias after their ouster.

In particular, the former head of the state security department, Valeriy Geletay, who earned more than 889 thousand UAH a year in his post, received almost 805 thousand upon being fired.

Former head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak received almost 1.5 million UAH.

Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Viktor Muzhenko, received around 2 million UAH after his dismissal.

Stepan Poltorak, who served as Defense Minister in the Volodymyr Groisman government, received more than 1.9 million UAH after his resignation.

Former National Police chief Sergei Knyazev received more than 2.3 million UAH after his dismissal.

The former head of the National Guard, Yuri Allerov, received more than 1.8 million. In addition, in 2020, the National Guard paid him more than 524 thousand hryvnias.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the husband of the Attorney General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova Denis Kolesnik resigned from the Cyber ​​Police Department, received compensation and got a job again. The amount of compensation for one and a half years of work after dismissal amounted to 750 thousand hryvnia.
