For the first time, the New Year’s speech of the President of Ukraine Zelensky was leaked to the network.

Vladimir Zelensky’s New Year’s message was leaked online. It lasts a record 15 minutes. It uses many places and involves children. Even the images of Joe Biden flicker.

Note that the false start with the publication of the president’s congratulations is perhaps the first time in the history of Ukraine.

The new video has a lot less ideology than last year. So, we will remember, the president said that it doesn’t matter who speaks what language, who walks on what street. He also said other conciliatory things.

There is nothing like this this year.

Zelensky speaks common words, lists achievements. It turned out to be an essentially ordinary New Year’s speech from the president, which was presented in an unusual way: with editing, children, frame cutting.

The only thing that turned out to be non-standard was the transition to Russian at the end of the speech, when Zelensky addresses Crimean residents and the out-of-control Donbass. Zelensky told them that they have been living for an hour in the new year (due to the time difference), but he knows that people are still “waiting to be marked by Ukraine time.” And he wished they put “hours ago.”

This measure would have some meaning if the president supplemented his words with a promise to cancel the discriminatory law on full Ukrainianization in the new year.

As previously reported by “Strana”, the recording of the congratulatory video took place in four locations in late December.

Recall that last year, Zelensky’s New Years video was shot on VDNKh, in the same location where the Servant of the People series was filmed.
