In Minsk, NFC Krumkachy footballers Sergei Kozeka and Pavel Rassolko were arrested in a protest action on August 30. They are in the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs. This is reported by Radio Liberty.

According to the soccer club, the athletes did not participate in the protests. They had just returned from training with team coach Alexander Belinsky.

The athletes passed the police cordons, but were attacked by riot police, the players were detained and beaten. Kozeko and Rassolko are accused of attacking police officers.

In the first league (D2) the Krumkachs are in third place, with 26 points after 14 games. Kozeka and Rassolko had 11 matches each.

It should be remembered that 125 people were arrested in the protests in Minsk and other cities of Belarus, which take place on Sunday, August 30.

Lukashenka was also reportedly removed again with a bulletproof vest and with a weapon. It happened during the next thousands of protests in the country’s capital.
