Vitold Fokin, deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, will attend a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Power. He was invited to the parliament after scandalous statements about the settlement of the situation in Donbass.

This was announced by the deputy head of the committee, deputy of the Servant of the People faction Alexander Kachura on the Telegram channel.

According to Kachura, the committee meeting with the participation of Vitold Fokin will take place on September 29 at 3:00 p.m.

Recall that on September 15 the parliamentary commission was supposed to listen to Fokin after his statements about the militants’ amnesty and the special status of Donbass, which were published in an interview with the media. The people’s deputy, Kachura, suggested inviting Fokine to the committee meeting.

However, Fokin later said that he would not be able to attend the committee meeting, explaining that he was busy and the need to work at the TCG.

It should be noted that the representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Sergey Garmash explained that the media published incomplete content of Fokin’s statement on the amnesty of militants.
