Fokin actually proposes a new model of world engagement

An interesting interview with “Strana” by the First Deputy of the Ukrainian delegation to TCG Vitold Fokin. In fact, Fokine offers a new model of engagement of the “doves of peace” surrounded by the president:
– application of the Minsk Agreements in all the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, BUT without modifying the Constitution of Ukraine.
For the Russian Federation and the “LDNR” this allows them to achieve their goals (although without guarantees for the future), and for the Ukrainian “war party” to partially “save face” and hope that these rules will be canceled by the next parliament.
Time will show to what extent this proposal is coordinated with Yermak / Zelensky and is realistic in general.
Although, now, it is more likely that in the Office of the Presidency “they are playing Kravchuk and Fokine” for the sake of the second meeting of the Four of Normandy and the local elections, it is necessary to show at least the appearance of progress in a peaceful settlement by parliament.
In any case, already now, with the arrival of the new team, Zelensky’s entourage:
– intensification of public debate on this issue;
– eliminated responsibility and pressure from Yermak, and by letter from Kravchuk, on the need to review the electoral resolution;
– skillfully threw the “hot stones” of responsibility for peace into the hands of parliament; this may be the main tactical objective. After all, what can you get out of parliament? Yes, and sitting there “exaggerated”, “cunning” Razumkov …
