Exit polls published for local elections in Ukraine

The current mayor of Kiev, Vitaliy Klitschko and Alexander Popov, can enter the second round of the elections to the mayor of Kiev.

In Ukraine, on Sunday October 25, local elections were held. The first results of the exit polls for the local elections in Kiev have been received.

According to the sociological group Rating, Vitali Klitschko is winning 47.8% of the votes. In second place is the candidate of the Opposition Platform – For Life Alexander Popov – 8.6% of the vote.

Third is Sergei Pritula of the Golos party: 8.3% of the voters. People’s Servant’s Irina Vereshchuk gained 8%. Alexey Kucherenko of Batkivshchyna – 6%.

The rest of the candidates have less than 5% of the votes.

Thus, Vitali Klitschko and Alexander Popov can qualify for the second round of the Kiev mayoral elections.
