Russian vaccine against coronavirus
In the near future, the vaccine will be shipped to the regions. Before that, it was tested in the Roszdravnadzor laboratories.
The first batch of the Russian coronavirus vaccine entered civilian circulation. This was announced on Tuesday, September 8, by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health.
“The first batch of the vaccine for the prevention of the new coronavirus infection Sputnik V, developed by the Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia, has passed the necessary quality tests in the laboratories of Roszdravnadzor and it has been put into civil circulation, “the statement said.
It should be noted that delivery of the first batches of vaccine to the regions is expected in the near future.
Recall that on August 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia became the first country in the world to register a vaccine against the coronavirus.
Subsequently, the vaccine was criticized from various sources. For example, the United States criticized the inadequacy of tests carried out with the Russian vaccine and Germany expressed doubts about its safety.
