In Kiev, there was a large-scale fire in the Svyatoshinsky district. According to preliminary information, the warehouses of one of the postal services are on fire.
This is stated in the message of the Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kiev on Facebook.
It is reported that the fire took place at Svyatoshinskaya Street, 32. Please note that the warehouses of the postal services “Deliveri” and “In Time” are located at this address. Firefighters arrived at the scene and found that a 100×30-square-meter warehouse was on fire. The ceiling collapsed during the extinction.
As the spokesperson for the State Emergency Service in Kiev, Svetlana Vodolaga, said on Ukraine 24 air, the call about the fire was received at 3:42 p.m. and already at 4:31 p.m. the fire was located in an area of 3,000 meters squares.
“The rescue teams removed three oxygen cylinders, avoiding a possible explosion and further catastrophic consequences … Law enforcement officers will find out what caused the fire. So far we have no information on the victims,” said Vodolaga.
