The fight in Kharkov occurred because the guards did not allow the 17 and 18-year-olds to enter the pharmacy.
On the night of September 15, a fight took place in Kharkov between policemen and teenagers. Reportedly, a conflict between drunk teenagers and security guards at one of the pharmacies took place on Traktorostroiteley Avenue around 9pm. According to official information, there was a dispute over the fact that the guards did not allow 17 and 18-year-olds to enter the pharmacy. The reason for this was the inappropriate behavior of the teenagers. The details are given by the local newspaper ATN.
It is reported that after they were not allowed to enter the pharmacy, young people began to cling to passersby. One of the witnesses called the police. According to Moscow base station press officer Evelina Cherepakhina, the police only defended themselves.
“They tried to stop their illegal actions, so a fight broke out. They ran towards the guards, the law enforcement officers did not beat them, they only defended themselves,” says the press officer.
He also added that as a result of the beating, two policemen were injured. They were diagnosed with bodily injuries, one of them with a concussion.
“He is now in the hospital. Doctors assess his health as satisfactory,” Cherepakhina added.
Local residents tell why the local alley was dubbed “the alley of drug addicts” and why it is overlooked by everyone.
“Is this normal in this market that there are 8 pharmacies and 8 pawn shops? Do you know what this alley is called?” and they sell drugs, “says Irina.

The pharmacy is already closed on September 16. Regarding the fact of the attack on the police officers, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides up to 5 years in prison.
