On the eve of the start of the Champions League, one of Dynamo’s rivals topped the Hungarian Championship standings.

The last rehearsal before the start of the Champions League group round for Ferencváros was the match of the seventh round of the Hungarian Championship against Kishvarda.
Both teams had two representatives from Ukraine on their applications. For Ferencváros, Kharatin came out of the starting lineup and left the field in the 74th minute, and Zubkov came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute. Kishvarda started with Melnik, and in the second half Karasyuk came on as a substitute.
It was Karasyuk who put the victory point for Ferencvaros in the match: with the score 1: 0 in favor of Sergei Rebrov’s team, Ukrainian Kishvarda’s own goal eliminated all questions about the winner.
Ferencváros, with 13 points after five games, topped the standings, two points ahead of Fehervar.
