FC Lviv do not rule out holding home matches in Ternopil

FC Lviv CEO Andriy Pankiv said the club has not yet been able to reach an agreement with either the Ukraine Stadium or the Arena Lviv on holding home matches.

You may have to use the reserve stadium and play in Ternopil.

– Andriy Yaroslavovich is probably today’s most pressing question: where will PFC Lviv play their home games this season?

– Frankly speaking, we have not yet made up our minds on this issue. We had planned to play in “Ukraine”, but when we turned to FC “Karpaty” (Lvov), they told us that the matches would cost 135,000 hryvnia. Since a match in the Arena costs 150,000. However, these two stadiums should not be compared. Everybody understands this. I don’t know exactly where we will play, because we will not play at the “Ukraine” stadium for the right price. We may have to go to Ternopil, where we have already worked out a variant and can live, eat and celebrate our struggles for little money.

– When, in your opinion, will it be known more specifically where exactly PFC Lviv will host their home games?

– This problem, of course, should be solved as quickly as possible. So far, there are two external meetings. The closest is against Kolos in Kovalevka, and then against Dynamo in Kiev. Then we had “Dawn” at home. We always have a reservation option: this is the Ternopil stadium, which we also announced for the season. We will keep thinking. As for Arena Lviv, it also presented its own conditions. If both Rukh and PFC Lviv play in this stadium, then we will have to wait for a suitable offer, a real price that we can pay.
